Deep Presta is just around the corner

Those of us who are dedicated to technology know that there is a Deep Web that lies beneath the surface, and represents approximately 90% of all websites.

This would be the part of an iceberg under water, much larger than the surface web and visible to everyone. In fact, this hidden web is so large that it is impossible to determine exactly how many pages or websites are active at any given time.

The reality is this... Just like on the Internet, in ecosystems based on an opensource system, many developers choose to contribute to it, while at the same time contributing, in a personal way, to large projects, based on years of study and experience, giving their clients added value, which makes these projects position themselves above the competition, using routines and automatisms designed for their business model.

This happens in the PrestaShop world (opensource to date)... Agencies, like us, with hundreds of references (ecommerces and marketplaces) and with only several addons (3) available to the general public in the Presta market. Modules for which you have to pay to upload them and for each download that a user makes, although, in exchange we get the visibility that PrestaShop gives, as well as knowing that we continue adding to a brutal project.

Deep Presta is a proposal for another way of sharing , making the merchant win first, as he will be able to download the addon from the market of the developing agency or from Deep Presta or wherever he decides... at significantly lower prices and without worrying about how the code has been resolved... Focused exclusively on business functionality .

The Agency also wins (there are no intermediaries and it pays for its analysis and development work, making the module available to the entire community) and, of course, the Presta community, which has access to all these developments that were at the base of the iceberg and did not reach so many merchants, without this system being exclusive to the current one.

Only modules from Official Agencies and large, proven developers, who comply with a series of standards based on development (UNE ISO20000-1, etc.), committed to security (ENS) and reviewed by our professionals.

About this idea... beyond the fact that it is a path we have been working on for some time, we would like to hear the comments, suggestions, weaknesses that can be seen in this discourse, etc. from all those who receive this article.

This process is the result of a series of circumstances and changes that occur in the e-commerce environment and, within it, among the actors (Solution, Agencies and Developers, merchants and clients). We see a series of advantages for all these actors, but we are aware that many minds, with different roles and levels of knowledge, always contribute much more than a few heads, which, to top it off, have been looking only ahead for some time, in order to have something stable and with minimum functionalities, which make a project of this magnitude viable.
